Afflux de Pouillot de Pallas en cours !

A large influx of Pallas's Leaf Warbler is currently observed in France with 18 individuals observed since October 13th, including 7 birds along the Mediterranean coast and 4 on Ré Island. Will the French record of 23 individuals dating from 2016 be beaten ?

Bécasseau à queue pointue

Dixième donnée française du Bécasseau à queue pointue avec le stationnement depuis le 7 septembre d'un adulte sur l'île de Noirmoutier. Après une absence d'observation entre 2012 et 2019, l'espèce a été observée ces trois dernières années entre le nord du département de la Vendée et le sud du département du Morbihan.

Again a Kelp Gull near Paris!

Third french record of Kelp Gull with a bird identified 2 months after his observation the July 9th and 14th, 2022 at Epône near Paris ! Surprisingly, all of the french mentions come from the Paris region !

Forster's Tern

Another Forster's Tern (adult) was observed yesterday by François Leclerc at Houlgate (Calvados department) ! The same day the bird of Noirmoutier Island (Vendée department) was also observed, this is the first time that there are two individuals at the same time in the country.

Siberian Buff-bellied Pipit

A Siberian Buff-bellied Pipit (Anthus rubescens japonicus) was discovered this afternoon in Camargue by Pierre-André Crochet, Frédéric Veyrunes and Thomas Galewski.
If accepted by the CHN, it would be the first French mention of the subspecies.
